ANALYSIS AND DEFINITION OF DECISION PROBLEMS OF EXPERT IN REAL ESTATE VALUATION

The thesis deals with the decision-making of the expert in real estate valuation. Due to the complexity of the process and the difficulties of valuation it can be assumed that the decision will be an arduous process. It is obvious that the choice of an expert is crucial to the result of the valuation process. This topic is currently relatively little explored, and therefore the work will deal with the analysis and formulation of decision problems expert in real estate valuation. The thesis analyses the current status of forensic engineering and decision-making regarding to real estate valuation. The general decision-making process, divided into seven steps, is adapted to the requirements of expert decision-making in real estate valuation. As in the managerial decision-making process, property valuation is also divided into three levels. These three levels considered the described fundamental decision problems that lead to the formulation of the expert decision-making principles in real estate valuation. For better understanding the extensiveness of the decision-making process in the valuation of real estate the author created a decision tree respectively schemes whose functionality has been verified at the end of the thesis, exemplified with the help of a specific case study of the determined price in real estate valuation.
Fuzzy logic as a decision support in management practice

The thesis describes the process of evaluating internet domains for the purpose of automating the registration process. The set of measured results is used to support the managerial decision-making of XYZ company, utilizing advanced decision-making methods in the creation of the model. The model is developed using two programming environments, namely MS Excel and MATLAB. The decision-making tool fully corresponds to the current needs of the automation team, and the output is a final recommendation for the selection of suitable internet domains.
Managerial Decision-Making on Sustainable Transport Development in a chosen Region

The thesis is focused on sustainable transport development of the Třeboň Region (Třeboňsko). This region is specific because of its low and decreasing population density, significant seasonal tourism and highly protected nature and landscape. Several different methods methodical approaches are used in this thesis for decision-making and designing/proposing provisions which together create the whole concept of sustainable transport development in the examined area. This study has proposed several important particular provisions in the infrastructure (expanding of infrastructure for non-motorized transport, increasing road safety and throughput and others) as well as in the public transport (increase of economic efficiency, improvement of transport services). Generally conceived provisions may be implemented in territories with similar characteristics.
The identification, analysis and problem solution proposals in the cooperation of the chosen organizations

The focus of this thesis is an identification and analysis of problems which have occurred till now in the cooperation between two chosen organizations, followed by problem solution proposals. Methodology of two sociologists Charles H. Kepner and Benjamin B. Tregoe will be used to undertake this analysis. The thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the various concepts that will be used in this work, such as the Kepner-Tregoe methodology or definition of a problem. The practical part is oriented on the analysis of the cooperation of the chosen organizations and the problems that have occurred with the use of the mentioned methodology. The purpose of the thesis is to propose possible solutions and chose the most appropriate.

Use of Methods of Managerial Decision-Making in Introducing a new Product in the Market of Security Services

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the suitability of methods of managerial decision-making in practice. The thesis highlights the diversity of selected methods, particularly in relation to the use of discrete and continuous risk factors. The methods are applied to the case of the introduction of new product in the market of commercial security services. The thesis includes a complete strategic planning cycle based on the defined objectives of the organization, security agency SECURE. From the analytical part, including the analysis of the competitive environment 5F, through the creation of strategies, author proceeds to an implementation part which is the essence of the thesis. It is represented by managerial decision-making under risk and uncertainty, particularly decision matrix and the method of Monte Carlo. The conclusion contains evaluation and comparison of different methods and their contribution to practical use.
Multi-criteria evaluation of risky alternatives in area of mobile technologies

The master thesis deals with managerial decision-making, more specifically with the multi-criteria evaluation of alternatives under risk for the GAMACZ.CZ company, which currently solves problem of low profitability. The aim of the thesis is to define the decision-making objective(s), determine the set of evaluation criteria, identify potentially successful alternatives, determine their impacts and finally evaluate alternatives and recommend the most suitable one for the company. For the purpose of the multi-criteria evaluation with risk integration the author uses the Weighted Sum Approach. On the basis of these methods the most suitable option together with suggestions of implementation are proposed to the company and the reality check is executed.

This thesis with title "Logistic Regression in the Managerial Decision-making" aims to introduce this statistical tool, clearly explain its general principles and assumptions and then provide examples of potential applications in various fields. The practical part of the work will demonstrate application of logistic regression on real data dealing with the demand for semestral stays abroad. There will be mapped usage of logistic regression from data collecting to final interpretation and recommendations for managerial decision-making support.
Efficiency improvement in a decision-making process using methods of managerial decision-making in a printing company

The goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to verify the application of managerial decision-making methods for selected managerial problems and thereby indicate ways to improve the efficiency of decision-making processes in a given printing company. The Thesis focuses on two specific decision-making problems. The first one is selecting from a list of offers of a printing machine and the second one is determining the amount of workers who should work in production during one shift. Selected methods for determining criteria weights and for multiple-criteria evaluation are applied to these problems in the Thesis.

The aim of this thesis is introduction of the company MARKID TRUTNOV spol. s r.o., which operates ski resorts and related infrastructure, assessment of its current activities and detailed dissection of the situation in recent years. The company has been given in this period for several reasons to the crisis threatened to escalate into possible bankruptcy. They were outlined possible options for solving crisis situations, commented decision, which was adopted and created a preview of the possible future progress of conduct for the prevention of crisis situations.
